In case of service
type FGHT the run for TA type GEN and BANKD will be clubbed before applying
minimum guarantee rule for continuous duty. For all other cases minimum
guarantee rule will be applied separately for each service, TA and duty type.
For the purpose of storing the value, GEN will have the actual km after applying the minimum
guarantee rule as explained above, whereas BANKD will have no(zero) km. This is only for reference which may be
required in future
Delhi area is having typical mileage for minimum
guarantee, which is applicable to Pilots and ALP’s only and not to Guards. In
all other cases sections are defined as minimum guarantee section (Y) and
normal section (N) as per rule 5 in 4.1 above. Delhi area sections (S) have
different minimum guarantee mileage as 160 km for 80 < km <160 and 120 Km
for 80 < km. Allowances will be payable as under

Calculate night minutes between two given dates. Night minutes are counted from

Over time is paid
in terms of extra hrs. Conversion of hrs to Rs is done by ‘P’ Branch.
Over time is
calculated on a fortnight basis
E.g.

Rostered

104
hrs. / 96 (for shunter) |
7
hrs. 26 min (7.428 hrs.) per day 6

Credit
for Non run days (wherever admissible) (In
case crew was on leave for 4 days and absent on 1 day credit will be given
for 4 days and not 5) |
Give
credit for 5 days (7 hrs. 26 min) 7.428 *5 = 37.14 |
Reduce
rostered hrs. Proportionately = (104/14)*5 = 37.14 hrs. (37 hrs. 8 min) Effective
Rostered hrs. 104 – 37.14 = 66.86 (66

Over
time hrs at higher rate for duty
hrs > 108 |
113.14
– 108 = 5.14 (5 hrs 8.4 min) = 5 hrs. after rounding off |
NIL as all values less
than 108 hrs. |
Over

hrs > 104 but < 108 |
108
-104 = 4 hrs. |
76
– 66.86 = 9.14 hrs. = 9 hrs. after rounding off |
Alternative I is
being followed as in Alternative II results are different due to differential
rate of over time from 104 to 108 hrs. and above 108 hrs.
